Not sure what he said which Chekhov are you referring to? What I do see is one pissed off version of Kiplings.

My wife was as good a shot as I however she could "John Wayne" a M2 Carbine on full auto with a transverse arc of only about 25 degrees while the best I could do was over 45 degrees, I never argued with her when we around firearms.
